Oh Boy(s)!!

Can I just say that raising two boys is so exausting great?  I gotta give props to our friends, Megan and Brad for raising twin boys and now another little boy :)  In all seriousness though, it is great.  As physically and sometimes emotionally draining as it is, I have no regrets.  I could not imagine how life would be without them.  They are my life and they put a smile on my face each and every day.

For the most part, they are best buds.  They feed off of each other, like fuel to a fire.  Monkey see, monkey do - well, you get the picture.  They are somewhat different though, or at least at different stages in toddlerhood.  Waylon is obsessed with watching Diego, Dora and Wonder Pets.  I have to say though, Diego has taught him a lot.  Wyatt isn't so much of the couch potato and likes to play and have us read him books. He cracks us up always asking "Whatdat"?  Pointing to everything wanting to know what it is. Oh, and Waylon did surprise us the other day and counted to 10 in Spanish when I was expecting, well, you know ENGLISH.  I almost fainted! Daycare is really teaching him a lot!  They both love to dance and "shake your booty".  Too funny!

A major event that occurred is Waylon's adenoid/tonsillectomy.  He had it done on 9/22 and did exceptionally well.  He hardly complained, and has made a fully recovery.  He does not snore anymore and the purple circles around his eyes have gone away.  They say that those could have been from a lack of sleep.  So I am so glad we did the right thing by having those removed.  Oh, and off the subject, another something major... Waylon has stopped calling Wyatt "baby" and now calls him Wyatt.  I really didn't think the day would come, but rather him calling Wyatt, "baby" until adulthood.  He did go through stages though.  First is was Wyby, then sometimes Wy, then on to Wyatt.  Maybe the surgery has made his speech a little better- who knows?

That is really about all I can think of to report.  Want to see some pics?  Well here ya go!

Hanging out with daddy on the big bed.  Love Wyatt's hair :P

And if you wanted a close up, here it is!

After Waylon's surgery, they both both got to eat lots of ice cream, applesauce and they especially loved PUDDING!  I didn't enjoy it quite as much.  Well, at least the clean up part.  OMG!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Wyatt, PLEASE don't mess with wall decor.......

Waylon, why have you eaten all of the peanut butter out of your cracker and then put them between your toes?  Why are your feet so dirty and why is the leather on my couch cracking?  Ok, I'll stop...

Waylon's Billy Idol face!

Waylon, why are you stacking your hotdogs on your cup?

WYATT!  Why did you climb on the kitchen table and more importantly, WHY are you swinging the light fixture???

I really don't need to buy any more toys.  A laundry basket is the most fun!

Waylon in daddy's boots!

Waylon with his tool belt on.  I really think he wants to be like daddy.

Wyatt, please stay away from the toilet while mommy's brushing Waylon's teeth!!

Ribbitt!!

Had to take pictures of Wyatt's rooster/waterfall of a hairdo.  He woke up with it this way.  I almost hated to brush it because it was making me laugh so hard!

Love Wyatt's seriousness in this one on the way to Guntersville!

Fun at the Oneonta pool!

Playing in Waylon's room is so much fun!

They love going to Crawmama's in Guntersville to eat crawfish.  Wyatt liked playing with the Texas Pete bottle :)

Very random pic, I know.  Something about it is hilarious to me.

Playing at the park

They loved going to the zoo.  That tiger was way too close!

They think they're cool in their pirate pj's.  And they are...

Summertime Fun

Waylon and Wyatt have had a great summer so far.  They just to play all the time and have really become joined at the hip.  They "love" on each other all of the time, but they have recently added pushing and slapping to the mix.  At first we thought Waylon was starting these incidents, but we now know that is not the case. He is the instigator lots of times.  He gets so mad at Waylon because he will start to show interest in whatever Wyatt is playing with and will want to take it from him, and he does NOT like that!  So he will usually hit him.  He also gets mad at Waylon because any time I try to read him a book, Waylon wants to come take over the book.  It makes it hard on me to try and teach Wyatt things, but I know Waylon just wants to show us how smart he is.  Wyatt has been talking a lot more.  I was starting to wonder when my little buddy was going to stop holding back on us :)

Lately, we have been having to watch Toy Story 3 over and over.  That's fine with me, because it's such a good movie.  I am just glad we don't have to watch episodes of  "Oso" over and over anymore.  Waylon loves that opening song and we would sing it all the time.  They both love to dance to any music they hear.  Waylon has a "boom box" as we call it, in his room.  He will climb up on his toy bin and turn it up ( I guess when he hears a song he likes or is ready to bust a move?)  Whatever the case, it sure is entertaining.  Here is a video clip of them dancing.  It cracks me up every time, because someone seems to be getting serious about his moves :)

They have really liked playing outside. First thing they do is run to the slide!  We bought a big beach ball that you hook the hose up to and it sprays water.  Waylon liked it, but Wyatt ran from it.  They only got to play with it for one day because it got a big hole in it.  Then Eric bought a pool from Marvin's that was a flop, literally, it leaned to one side and water kept running out.  My mom bought one last year that was never opened, and they loved playing in it last weekend. We got to bring it home but haven't blown it up yet- plan on doing that tomorrow :)

Here are some pictures from the past month or so...

They loved each other that day

More fun outside

Riding the Gator at Lynn-z and Peedee's house.  Better watch out, this thing will GO, and give you whiplash too

They boys came home from daycare with "crowns" on.  Don't really look like crowns to me, but Waylon seems to love his and hates it when Wyatt hook his off. Waylon wanted me to get out of his room (I think because he wanted me to show me something in the den), so he broke down crying.  Still cute though.

That's all for now!

Yea Summer!

I am SO glad that summer is here- yes, even though it's a billion degrees outside :)  It's nice being able to get the boys outside to let them play.  This winter was really starting to drag.  Not to mention all of the sickness that winter brings- UGH!  Waylon and Wyatt have been doing really well lately.  We have made it through allergies, ear infections, stomach viruses and staph infections.  WOOHOO!

I guess it's been about three months since my last post.  The boys are growing and changing so much.  They are sweet, funny and SMART!  Waylon loves telling us "I did it" and Wyatt has become quite the little monkey climbing on things.

As you probably can imagine, I have taken rediculous amounts of pictures. On our beach trip alone I took over 1100!!!! Thing is, even though I take that many pictures, I probably only had the camera in my hand 30-45 minutes total, I promise. You have to act fast with little rascals like mine!

I guess the most recent excitement, was our trip to Navarre Beach.  It was the boys first time at the beach.  Lynn-z and Peedee got a condo for a week and we went down for part of the time.  We had such a good time.  Kristin and Livie came too Olivia is so sweet with Waylon and Wyatt and they get along great.  It was really good getting to spend some time with my momma and seester!  I feel like I never get to see them.  My mom defintely has a lot on her right now (got to witness it first hand) and I know enjoyed our company :)

I was so glad the boys didn't freak out at the beach.  They really liked it, well, Waylon more so than Wyatt.  Wyatt liked to eat graham crackers and lay them in the sand and then decide he wanted the rest, so he ate it covered in sand :)  The pool was a different story, though.   They were scared to death of getting in the water.  It was our last day and Eric and I decided to just make them get in and let them scream.  It worked though.  They ended up loving it!

Here are just a few :)  from the beach

As usual, here are some pictures of the boy playing indoors and out....

While Eric took Waylon to the doctor one afternoon, I decided it was the perfect time to dress my little man up and take some outdoor pics.  I couldn't get over (and help but laugh) at how many different faces he makes.  My little comedian :)

More Randoms....

On Easter, we went to church and headed over to Eric’s parents (Nana and Grandaddy’s) house.  We pulled up and saw the cutest bunny rabbit waiting for the boys.  Grandaddy carved it out of wood and Nana painted it.  How creative are they?  It turned out so cute!

We spent a lot of time outside and Grandaddy decided to get the riding lawnmower out and pull them trough the yard in their wagon. HUGE hit! The didn’t want to get out and started crying when he would stop. It reminds me when “Papa” used to do the same thing with me. It really is fun.

Nana found these cute dressy outfits for the boys to have some pictures made in and I thought they would be great for Easter.  Next year they won’t be able to wear things like this, so we thought it would be a good opportunity to let them wear them.  So cute!!!!!  Here are some pictures Nana took.

These pics were taken at daycare with Bunny Foofoo, the mascot, I guess.  I think it’s funny that he’s on a leash.

I guess I had to save my two favorite pictures for last. Nana took them on the swing underneath the porch. I love them in black and white!!!
