I am SO glad that summer is here- yes, even though it's a billion degrees outside :) It's nice being able to get the boys outside to let them play. This winter was really starting to drag. Not to mention all of the sickness that winter brings- UGH! Waylon and Wyatt have been doing really well lately. We have made it through allergies, ear infections, stomach viruses and staph infections. WOOHOO!
I guess it's been about three months since my last post. The boys are growing and changing so much. They are sweet, funny and SMART! Waylon loves telling us "I did it" and Wyatt has become quite the little monkey climbing on things.
As you probably can imagine, I have taken rediculous amounts of pictures. On our beach trip alone I took over 1100!!!! Thing is, even though I take that many pictures, I probably only had the camera in my hand 30-45 minutes total, I promise. You have to act fast with little rascals like mine!
I guess the most recent excitement, was our trip to Navarre Beach. It was the boys first time at the beach. Lynn-z and Peedee got a condo for a week and we went down for part of the time. We had such a good time. Kristin and Livie came too Olivia is so sweet with Waylon and Wyatt and they get along great. It was really good getting to spend some time with my momma and seester! I feel like I never get to see them. My mom defintely has a lot on her right now (got to witness it first hand) and I know enjoyed our company :)
I was so glad the boys didn't freak out at the beach. They really liked it, well, Waylon more so than Wyatt. Wyatt liked to eat graham crackers and lay them in the sand and then decide he wanted the rest, so he ate it covered in sand :) The pool was a different story, though. They were scared to death of getting in the water. It was our last day and Eric and I decided to just make them get in and let them scream. It worked though. They ended up loving it!
Here are just a few :) from the beach
As usual, here are some pictures of the boy playing indoors and out....
While Eric took Waylon to the doctor one afternoon, I decided it was the perfect time to dress my little man up and take some outdoor pics. I couldn't get over (and help but laugh) at how many different faces he makes. My little comedian :)
On Easter, we went to church and headed over to Eric’s parents (Nana and Grandaddy’s) house. We pulled up and saw the cutest bunny rabbit waiting for the boys. Grandaddy carved it out of wood and Nana painted it. How creative are they? It turned out so cute!
We spent a lot of time outside and Grandaddy decided to get the riding lawnmower out and pull them trough the yard in their wagon. HUGE hit! The didn’t want to get out and started crying when he would stop. It reminds me when “Papa” used to do the same thing with me. It really is fun.
Nana found these cute dressy outfits for the boys to have some pictures made in and I thought they would be great for Easter. Next year they won’t be able to wear things like this, so we thought it would be a good opportunity to let them wear them. So cute!!!!! Here are some pictures Nana took.
These pics were taken at daycare with Bunny Foofoo, the mascot, I guess. I think it’s funny that he’s on a leash.
I guess I had to save my two favorite pictures for last. Nana took them on the swing underneath the porch. I love them in black and white!!!
